Welcome!

Enamelart specializes in creating kiln fired enamelled light switches. Each one is handmade with attention to detail. They are designed to create small pieces of art for all rooms of the house and in offices and restaurants. In fact, anywhere there is a light switch.

Classes and workshops

Enamelling Courses Autumn 2010

Two courses start date 28/30 September

10 Sessions

10.00 am - 12.30 pm

Numbers restricted to 5 students

THURSDAYS - Some enamelling experience/ TUESDAYS - Beginners

Fee £125 to include tuition, use of studio equipment and materials (except a small charge for copper)

If you would like to join a class (or need more information), please email janegeeson@enamelart.co.uk and be ready to pay £25 deposit when your place is confirmed.

 

Summer Enamelling Days

Saturdays, 10am to 3pm

7 August 2010 - Enamelling on Copper - a taster day. Learn how to fuse glass to metal using vitreous enamel and copper.

14th August 2010 - Enamelling for beginners and improvers. Learn about the art of enamelling, develop ideas and learn about materials and techniques.

21st August 2010 - Enamelling on copper. Learn how to use wet process enamels and produce a small picture.

Numbers restricted to five students

Fee: £65.00 to include lunch at the café
